General Questions

Tickets are purchased through Eventbrite via mediconexpo.com. After purchase you will receive a confirmation email containing a QR code. You can either print it or show it on your phone at the gates.

Gates open from 12:00 each day. Last entry is 17:00. The event closes at 20:00 on Saturday and 20:00 on Sunday. Please arrive early.

Medicon Expo is strictly 18 plus. You will need to bring photo ID. No exceptions, including for accompanied minors.

Tickets are refundable untill 7days of the event. Name changes can be made up to 48 hours before the event via Eventbrite. After that the original ticket holder must attend or send written authorisation.

Yes. The site is wheelchair accessible across the main paths and zones. Accessible toilets are located near each main hub. If you have specific access needs please email support@mediconexpo.com in advance so we can support you on arrival.

Getting There and Parking

Bolesworth Castle, Tattenhall, Chester, Cheshire, CH3 9HQ. Follow signed routes from the A41 once you are local. Do not rely solely on satnav for the final approach, follow the Medicon Expo signage.

Yes, free parking is £5 for both days . Follow stewards on arrival, they will direct you to the car park. Disabled parking is signed and located closer to the main entrance.

The nearest train station is Chester. From Chester station you can take a taxi or pre-booked transfer to the site. We recommend booking your return taxi in advance, signal can be patchy at peak times.

Medical Cannabis Patients

Yes, but you must follow the law and our site policy carefully. To carry and consume your prescribed medical cannabis at Medicon Expo you must bring the following:
• Your prescription medication in its original pharmacy-dispensed packaging, with the dispensing label clearly visible.
• A copy of your prescription.
• Photo ID matching the name on the prescription

Consumption of prescribed medical cannabis is permitted.

No. Sharing or supplying your prescription to another person is a criminal offence, even if they are also a patient. Doing so on site will result in immediate removal.

Yes. Our Medical provides on-site medics throughout opening hours. First aid points are clearly signed across the site. If you feel unwell, speak to any steward and they will get help to you immediately.

Prohibited Items

All bags will be searched on entry. The following items are strictly prohibited:
• Illegal drugs of any kind, including unprescribed cannabis
• Knives, blades, multi-tools or any item that could be used as a weapon
• Fireworks, flares, smoke bombs or pyrotechnics
• Glass bottles or containers
• Outside alcohol
• Laughing gas (nitrous oxide), now a controlled drug under UK law
• Aerosols and pressurised containers, beyond personal-size deodorant
• Megaphones, air horns, whistles
• Animals, except registered assistance dogs
• Bicycles, scooters, e-scooters, skateboards
• Garden furniture, gazebos, large flags or banners on poles

Items will be confiscated and not returned. Where the item is illegal under UK law, you will be removed from site. Your ticket will be voided with no refund.

Yes. All attendees and bags will be searched by licensed SIA security on entry. This is a condition of attendance and is in place to keep everyone safe.
